Fun with Kelsey

We have been having a good time around here. In fact, as noted by the lack of blog postings, too busy of a time.

Thought I would share some cute videos of Kelsey.

Only watch if you have not exceeded your daily recommended allowance of cuteness!

She really likes the "toes" part right now. I think the stretch feels good for her. She also really likes it when we label all her body parts as we help her touch them.

The Apple Tree rhyme that we learned at school a very long time ago!

Not sure that either one of these takes the place of beloved "Mr. Sun" but we sure did have fun!

Daddy's finally gotten around to updates

Kelsey just talked to me, said about 3 things, multiple times, and smiled after each, also reached up and grabbed and held my chin for quite a while, then I touched hers, and she smiled, now singing "She's Everything" by Brad Paisley , she's singing back to me, and now now Emerson Drive 7/15/09 12:26a Last night, for 20 minutes, rode a new board with rollers, like a skateboard, only wider, while sitting Indian style, would say go, then laugh when it hit Kelly's legs. Did it over, and over and over. Then, laid herself forward, and when we said up, up, she would sit up and balanced!

I went in to looked at her last night, was sleeping. I said a prayer for her, and her hand was open, fingers out, sleeping soundly. I gave a kiss toward her, with minimal sound, and in her sleep, she smacked her lips a kiss back 7/4/09 2:39p

The Wheels on the Bus

Kelsey has a love for music.

The verse of "wheels on the bus" with the babies on the bus going "Wa Wa Wa" has been working for the last three months to get her to stop crying and take her bottle because she doesn't want to be a "baby."

Last night I was singing it and doing the actions with her. I got to the baby part and lifted her fists to her eyes to do the "Wa Wa Wa" part.

She said "Wa Wa Wa." At first I thought she was fussing because lifting her hands up to her eyes can be hard at times, so I turned her so I could watch better.

She wasn't fussing. She was Singing!

She has since done it repeatedly.

So cute.

So smart.
